Proposal Cover for an Aerospace Company

I illustrated the assembly line in red-orange to light orange on the cover and it was used as a black and white line drawing in the proposal, too. That was painstaking as I used Adobe Illustrator’s extrude tool on the entire piece and getting all the elements to be at the same angle of depth was quite challenging, but well worth it. Increasingly, the trend in fonts for proposals has been towards Times New Roman, which proposal and capture managers always interpret as extending to the cover, as well. I think the reason is that if the font inside has to be Times New Roman Times New Roman to comply with the Request for Proposal (RFP), then we can send the message from the get-go on the cover that it’s compliant. Unfortunately, Times New Roman never makes a bold, clear statement when used in graphics and charts. It’s obviously wonderful for legal documents and formal purposes, though.
